With less than 6 weeks to go to Ramadan, Working Muslim, founded by British entrepreneur Saiyyidah Zaidi, has published an informative Ramadan guide for Muslims to share with their colleagues and post in the staff lounge.
"Does your workplace and do your colleagues know what Ramadan is, and what fasting means for you? Want an easy way to communicate the message of Ramadan to your Employers and Employees".
Working Muslim, in partnership with the Muslim Council of Britain and 1st Ethical Charitable Trust has prepared the official Working Muslim Guide to Ramadan.
This guide has been reviewed by a legal team and provides information that is helpful and legally compliant.
“I see The Working Muslim in Ramadan guide as a vital tool for enhancing good relations between organisations and their Muslim employees. Fasting is a key tradition within the Christian and Muslim faiths, and Ramadan is an important time of reflection and fasting for Muslims. I would encourage all employers and employees to read these guides.” - The Right Reverend Bishop Richard Cheetham, Co-Chair, Christian Muslim Forum; Bishop of Kingston-upon-Thames
